386. Perspective of Guatemalan Politics, 2015 Arouse

Recently, Guatemalans chose a diversity of authorities; Mayors, Deputies, missing only the election of the President and Vice President, which will be done on October 25th, 2015.

 

Of the 158 deputies, 50% are new and % are reelected. The new legislature faces a number of challenges to rescue the credibility of the Guatemalan Congress.

That's why is necessary that the Legislature Organism function as one of the 3 powers of state, to strengthen the institutionalism of the country, guarantee the creation of laws to eradicate corruption, promoting  transparency, investment, job generation and legal certainty to propitiate the common good.

This requires that the Legislature Organism functions as one of the three branches of government, to strengthen institutions in the country, guaranteeing Guatemalans the creation of laws to combat corruption, promote transparency, investment, create jobs and legal certainty to promote common good.

The Guatemalan Congress must be an auditor organism that results in the good management of state resources and truly invest in the most needed sectors of the population.

That's why it is necessary to have a transparent, modern and ethic legislation to achieve integral development for Guatemala

It is therefore important to have a transparent, modern and ethic legislation to achieve the comprehensive development of Guatemala

One of the most urgent actions is to strengthen the institutionalism of the Congress; the new legislature of the Parliament, affronts a series of challenges for law creation to accelerate the economic and social development of our country.

The elected Deputies most boost the law of investment, to bring development to all the needed areas, to propitiate more and better opportunities for all Guatemalans.
